Hawkeye is the latest chapter in the Marvel television universe. Debuting on Thanksgiving and wrapping just before Christmas, the show features Jeremy Renner as Clint Barton/Hawkeye, along with Hailee Steinfeld as the expert archer, Kate Bishop.

Based on the 2012 comic series, Hawkeye, created by Matt Fraction and David Aja, the new Disney+ series reveals many newly discovered facts about Hawkeye’s character, including his deafness.

This action-filled mini-series also introduces us to new characters such as Bishop, Jacques Duquesne, and of course, Lucky the dog, all of which are featured in the comics.

Yelena Belova, who was featured in Marvel’s Black Widow, makes a crucial appearance after she was told by the mysterious Valentina Allegra de Fontaine that Barton was the one responsible for her sister, Natasha Romanoff’s, death.

New viewers can expect to get six episodes of the sarcasm, comedy, drama, and dramatic irony that come with a Marvel production.
